Hello There!

I'm so glad to have you here! My name is Nikki, and I am a small town girl pursuing a big dream of capturing the beauty and joy in every day life. I have always loved being behind the camera ever since I was a little girl. I purchased my first professional camera when I was about 16 years old, and fell in love instantly. Through my photographs, I strive to express the way I view and value life. I want you to not just see me as your photographer, but I want to leave an impression. I strive for you to see me as someone who made you feel special, loved and cherished. Everyone that steps in front of my camera brings beauty and uniqueness, and I want my photographs to reflect that. I absolutely love people, relationships and community. One of my favorite things about being a photographer is not just taking the pictures, but the beautiful stories behind them. I love getting to know people on personal levels, so not just our words connect, but our hearts connect as well.

Along with being a photographer, I am also a Christ-follower, Wifey, Mama to the sweetest little boy, a fur-mama, and a part-time Counselor. With every photograph I take and every relationship that's created, I strive to glorify God, knowing that every perfect gift is from Him. I am married to the man of my dreams, and I love doing life with him. I became a mama for the first time to my precious son, whom I just absolutely adore. I have two fur babies, a French Bulldog named Ruby, and an Australian Shepherd named Lucy. I am a lover of coffee, yoga pants, Psychological thriller novels, fall and Jazz music (Michael Buble makes me swoon). I am a fitness junkie and health nut, but give me chocolate chip cookies, and my heart is forever yours.

As a photographer, I am all about the raw, beautifully-unscripted moments in life, and that's what I strive to get you with my pictures. I, of course, love capturing those great posed pictures, but even more so, I love the pictures of a daddy making his little girl laugh, of a couple gazing into each others eyes, or of a mama holding and gazing at her newborn, feeling that indescribable joy. I just love those moments, and I feel there is so much a picture can capture that words aren't able to.
